Foot Care

A foot care nurse is a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse who has taken specialized training in foot care. They work alongside the doctor and provide treatments in a sterile environment. The overall health of the foot is assessed, and preventative measures or treatments suggested. Regular foot care appointments can help care for ingrown toenails, fungal infection of nails, warts, callous, thick toenails and the list goes on…they can handle it all. Circulation in the lower limbs can be assessed with a test called Ankle Brachial Index (ABI). Diabetic foot screens with sensation testing and in-depth skin and anatomy inspections are also offered. Laser treatment options are available for warts and nail fungus. Call us to ask about or book your foot care appointment today!
